This is my journey working collaboratively with poets who will react to my art as I create it. Amidst the pandemic we will work virtually, which is somewhat difficult as art is best viewed in person. Our goal is to participate in an interesting adventure in creativity. Thank you Atrocious Poets for this opportunity! I enjoy collaborating with artists, writers, musicians, dancers… It is always a process. The collaborators benefit from the interaction, the exchange of ideas, the creative energy of those involved. Success of the project is measured by each artist/poets contribution and personal success; and in the end the response of the audience. Viewing this installation during this pandemic may be limited, less physical and perhaps more widely virtual. But, if but one person is touched by our art/poetry, then “As It Happens” will be a success.
