STAGE RIGHT— Shared Connections

STAGE RIGHT—Shared Connections is an immersive art and sound installation by visual artist bert leveille and sound artist John Hegner that transforms the first-floor spaces of the historic Woodstock Opera House into a shared stage. Leveille’s figures and abstract forms appear to move through color, light, and space, while Hegner’s original soundscape makes the Opera House itself a collaborator—drawing upon its “native sounds,” from footsteps, doors, and theatre acoustics to the hum of its mechanical systems. As visitors circulate the installation, they become part of its continuing story — connected to those who entered before and those still to come.
